Welcome to Jordan and Brooke K-12 Tutoring!

Please fill out the following form in order to enrol your child.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

SECTION 01: WEEKLY PAYMENT – INDIVIDUAL/GROUP LESSONS
1.1 Enrolment and Payment
- Invoices are issued monthly at the beginning of each calendar month.

- All invoices must be paid in full by the due date stated on the invoice.

- Unless otherwise specified, payment is due on the 15th of each month.

- All individual/group lesson fees are non-refundable.

1.2 Payment Penalties
- If payment is not received within 48 hours after the due date:

- A 10% late payment penalty will be applied.

- Access to remaining tutoring sessions, LMS materials, and recordings will be temporarily suspended until payment is received in full.

- Jordan & Brooke reserves the right to withhold services until all outstanding balances and penalties are settled.

1.3 Cancellations, Attendance, and Rescheduling
- More than 24 hours’ notice:

Individual lessons:

- Lessons may be rescheduled within 10 days, subject to tutor availability.

- If rescheduling is not possible, carry-forward credits may apply.

- No refunds are provided.

Group lessons:

- A request may be made for the session fee to be credited forward.

- No refunds or rescheduling are available.

- Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance:

- No rescheduling, credits, or refunds apply.

- The lesson will be recorded as missed and charged in full.

SECTION 02: PAYMENT IN ADVANCE – PROGRAMS (TERM / PHASE BASED)
2.1 Enrolment and Payment
- Full program fees must be paid at least 5 business days prior to the first session.

- All program fees are non-refundable.

- Program lessons are pre-scheduled and fixed for the duration of the program.

2.2 Cancellations and Attendance
Once a program has commenced:

- No cancellations are permitted.

- No rescheduling or schedule changes are allowed.

- Missed sessions are not credited, rescheduled, or refunded.

- Students may access learning materials and recordings for 7 days, where applicable.

SECTION 03: GENERAL TERMS (APPLICABLE TO ALL STUDENTS)
3.1 Lesson Scheduling
- Lessons are scheduled on a fixed weekly day and time upon enrolment.

- Lesson schedules remain unchanged unless a permanent change is requested and approved in writing by Jordan & Brooke.

- All lesson details (day, time, tutor, and access link) are provided in writing at enrolment.

3.2 Lesson Attendance and Reminders
- Jordan & Brooke does not issue daily or same-day lesson reminders.

- Families will receive:

- A confirmation email prior to the first lesson.

- A weekly lesson reminder email.

- Parents and students are responsible for:

- Knowing and managing scheduled lesson times.

- Logging in punctually using the provided link.

- Treating tutoring as a standing commitment, comparable to school or extracurricular activities.

- Failure to attend a scheduled lesson for any reason (including forgetting the lesson, not checking communications, or technical issues on the student’s side) will result in the lesson being marked as missed.

- Tutors will attend sessions as scheduled.

- Missed lessons are not refundable, credited, or rescheduled, except as outlined in Sections 01, 02, or 03.

3.3 Access to Lessons and Learning Management System
- Lessons must be accessed using the approved tutoring platform and instructions provided at enrolment.

- Access to Canvas, learning materials, and recordings is granted only after enrolment is complete and these Terms & Conditions are acknowledged.

- Access issues caused by user error do not qualify for refunds, credits, or rescheduling.

3.4 Materials and Recordings
- All materials and recordings are provided solely for the enrolled student.

- Materials must not be shared, copied, reproduced, or distributed.

- Jordan & Brooke reserves the right to take legal action in cases of unauthorised use.

- Where applicable, recordings are available for 7 days.

- Jordan & Brooke is not responsible for learning gaps resulting from student absence.

3.5 Technical Issues
- Best-practice standards are applied for online delivery; however, technical disruptions may occur.

- Rescheduling or credit will apply only where the issue originates from Jordan & Brooke’s systems.

- The following do not qualify for refunds or rescheduling:

- Forgotten passwords

- Device issues

- Personal internet connectivity problems

- Technical issues must be reported via WhatsApp within 10 minutes of the scheduled lesson start time.

- If resolved, the lesson may be rescheduled within 10 days, subject to availability.

3.6 Tutor Cancellations
If a tutor cancels a lesson, families may choose one of the following:

- Reschedule within 10 days

- Receive a refund

- Receive a credit transfer

3.7 Public Holidays
Lessons will proceed on public holidays unless otherwise advised in writing by Jordan & Brooke.

3.8 Discontinuation of Services
- A minimum of 24 hours’ written notice is required to discontinue services.

- Charges apply until:

- All outstanding balances are paid, and

- The cancellation process is complete.
